General Mental Health Resources

Psychology Today is a great place to start for clients able to pay directly and covered by insurance. They can identify therapist characteristics and search by specialization. Many of these providers are currently offering tele-therapy. https://www.psychologytoday.com/us

Detroit Wayne Mental Health Authority: Mental health and substance abuse agencies are open and taking appointments for counseling. Counseling is being provided over the phone or video at some agencies. To make an appointment, call 1-800-241-4949.
